LISTEN Takes Over The Gasometer in January!

After a huge 2016, LISTEN are ready to take on the new year, and to celebrate will be taking over the Gasometer in January with a huge residency! To help kick it all off in week one is Take Your Time, The Curse (featured on LISTEN Records’ newest release Compilation 2!) and sakisoda! In Week Two, things take a turn for the more abrassive, and we will be joined by Divide And Dissolve, No Sister, and SPIT. In Week Three, we are excited to be presenting Xeno Genesis, Glovv, and Callan, who floored the audience at our LISTEN conference showcase, and will be joined by DJ Whiskey Houston on the decks between sets. Week Four is LISTEN Records week, with a stellar showcase of the LISTEN Records roster with Simona Castricum, Hi-Tec Emotions and Biscotti. Our final night will be surely be a huge send-off to our Gasometer Residency, with a big night of hip-hop! Acts still be to announced.

LISTEN exists to spark and cultivate a conversation from a feminist perspective around the experiences of marginalised people in Australian music. LISTEN events are safe spaces to showcase and celebrate the talents of our diverse female and LGBTQIA+ communities.
